Team finishes on top of UCI rankings.

3 October 2005: The final rankings for the UCI Continental circuit have been announced, with MG XPower - Bigpond winning the teams rankings for the Oceania circuit, and Rob McLachlan taking out the individual title.

MG XPower - BigPond finished the season on 105 points, well clear of Italy's Ceramica Panaria - Navigare, the team of Australian Olympic Gold Medalists Graham Brown and Brett Lancaster. After taking the lead in the rankings after the Australian Open Road Championships in January, Rob McLachlan maintained his position to finish on 85 points, well clear of his nearest rivals. MG XPower - BigPond will now start next week's Herald Sun Tour as the reigning Oceania Continental Circuit Champion Team with the Oceania rankings individual winner, Rob McLachlan, as team captain.
